It's just faster, if not faster, than the iMac 21 inch comparably prices, faster than low-voltage processors used in the MacBook Air and comparably faster than a Windows laptop price we've seen so far.
This excellent performance is no doubt aided by the processor Turbo Boost ability while increasing clock speed to 3.4GHz when performing certain tasks. The fan is usually quiet can be even harder when the processor is working, while the bottom can be a bit too warm.
